Bizarre Bedrooms: Free Spirit Spheres

September 23, 2016

As pioneers and innovators to clean up the murky cotton industry, we love when we see others break the norm to bring the world something new, unique and—quite frankly—bizarre! That’s why we’ll be presenting a series of Bizarre Bedrooms, where we will feature some of our favorite wacky bedrooms and hotels from around the globe. So grab your backpack and a sense of adventure: it’s time to jet off to Vancouver!

When designer Tom Chudleigh thinks outside the box, he really means it. Tom and his team created Free Spirit Spheres to inspire creativity and stewardship in nature. Nestled between the regions of Nanaimo to the south, Comox Valley to the north and the Pacific Rim to the West, Free Spirit Spheres offer incomparable beauty for those who seek luxury and solitude all year round.

Free Spirit Spheres

The spheres—or orbs—are individually suspended in the forest by cables amongst a grove of cedar, maple or fir trees. They each feature sleeping arrangement, a settee of some sort and a bathroom. There are three “sizes” of spheres available for booking: The Eve, the Eryn and the Melody.

There’s only one thing that comes to mind when we look at these inviting spheres: they’re missing 100% organic cotton bedding! Surely one company that prides itself on nature stewardship and eco-friendly habitats would vibe perfectly with one that is Fair Trade USA Certified and GOTS-certified.

Either way, you may never want to leave.
