The holidays are here and Boll & Branch has decked the halls. Well, we’ve decked our flagship store in the Mall at Short Hills, and the forecast is looking snowy! That’s right — for our first-ever holiday season in our flagship store, we went all out and transformed it into a winter wonderland. Maybe you can pick up some Christmas decorating ideas from us?
Icicles hang from the windows, wreaths adorn the walls, evergreen sprigs and bows accent various sections — every detail will put you in the holiday spirit. You’ll want to curl up and watch the snow fall, and with our test Boll & Branch Mattress right in the store, you can!
When dreaming of how to transform the store for the holidays, Matt Allegretta, Manager of Visual Merchandising, was inspired by traditions. Specifically, the traditions that surround snowy holidays. “Inspiration was everywhere,” Matt said. “We have a close family of employees at Boll & Branch, so we chatted with them about their traditions with their own families and were able to bring them to life in all corners of the store.”
Among these tradition-inspired moments is our Letter to Santa Station, where little ones can write a letter to the North Pole (Cotton the New Jersey Elf is standing by to reply to every letter!). There are references to holiday baking, a cotton-adorned tree, and a throw blanket display that features our founder, Scott’s, childhood sled. You can even snack on a festive cookie while you shop.
When asked to pick his favorite piece of the store, Matt said, “it’s not so much one piece but more like thousands of pieces. Our window display is made up of thousands of hand-cut pieces of paper sewn together to create fractals of ice! This modern version of icicles twinkles and twirls, creating a true environment to experience.”
But if we’re honest, pictures and words just can’t do it justice. If you’re in the area, head down to the Mall at Short Hills to see our store in person. And if the beautiful decor doesn’t entice you, maybe some incredible savings will. Our best deals of the year will be starting on Black Friday, both in store and online!
