Question 1

How does Percale compare to Signature?

Accepted Answer

Percale has a tight, structured weave that feels cool and crisp to the touch, and tents around the body for airflow. Signature has a sateen weave that's more relaxed, for a smoother and softer feel with a subtle sheen. Customers often describe Percale like their favorite hotel sheets, and Signature like a well-loved T-shirt.

Question 2

Are these pillowcases good for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our Percale pillowcases are made with 100% organic cotton and are never treated with harsh chemicals, synthetic coatings, or toxins like formaldehyde. They're GOTS Certified and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Certified, meaning every component has been tested against a list of over 1,000 harmful substances. Nothing touches your skin that shouldn't.

Question 3

Do Percale pillowcases sleep hot?

Accepted Answer

No. Our Percale fabric is naturally cool to the touch and woven for structure that enhances breathability, allowing consistent airflow to help regulate temperature overnight. That’s what makes it so ideal for hot sleepers.

Question 4

Are these Boll & Branch pillowcases wrinkle resistant?

Accepted Answer

Unlike other brands that rely on harsh chemical treatments or synthetic blends to prevent wrinkles, Boll & Branch pillowcases are made with 100% organic cotton and never treated with resins or formaldehyde. While our sheets may naturally wrinkle a bit, that’s the beauty of pure, breathable cotton. With a simple shake between wash and dry, they’ll look fresh and smooth: no shortcuts, just natural quality.
