Question 1

How does Percale compare to Signature?

Accepted Answer

Percale has a tight, structured weave that feels cool and crisp to the touch, and tents around the body for airflow. Signature has a sateen weave that’s more relaxed, for a smoother and softer feel with a subtle sheen.

Customers often describe Percale like their favorite hotel sheets, and Signature like a well-loved T-shirt.

Question 2

Do Percale sheets sleep hot?

Accepted Answer

No. Our Percale fabric is made of 100% organic cotton, which is naturally cool to the touch, and woven for structure that enhances breathability. This allows consistent airflow to help regulate temperature and prevent heat buildup overnight.

Question 3

What is the thread count for Boll & Branch sheets?

Accepted Answer

Thread quality matters more than thread count. Thread count is simply a measurement of threads per square inch of fabric, whereas long-staple cotton fibers create a softer, stronger sheet that lasts.

Question 4

Do Boll & Branch organic cotton sheets wrinkle?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Because our sheets are made with 100% organic cotton and are never treated with wrinkle-resistant chemicals, light wrinkling is completely normal. It is a natural characteristic of pure, breathable cotton.
To help minimize wrinkles:
Shake sheets out before drying
Remove promptly and smooth by hand while slightly damp
Lightly mist with water to help the fibers relax
No coatings. No shortcuts. Just beautifully made sheets that soften and relax over time.
