Does the Signature duvet set sleep hot?

No. Our Signature fabric is made of 100% organic cotton, which is naturally breathable, in a sateen weave designed for softness with airflow. It’s comfortable across seasons, and easy to adjust by swapping your duvet insert weight.

Does this duvet set include a duvet insert?

No. This set includes only the duvet cover and shams. You can purchase a duvet insert separately to complete your bedding setup.

What’s the difference between a duvet set and a comforter?

A duvet set includes a removable duvet cover (plus matching shams) that goes over a duvet insert, similar to a pillowcase. A comforter is a single, filled piece. Many people prefer a duvet set because the cover is easy to wash and lets you refresh the look of your bed without replacing the insert.

Yes. Because our duvet sets are made with 100% organic cotton and are never treated with wrinkle-resistant chemicals, light wrinkling is completely normal. It is a natural characteristic of pure, breathable cotton.
To help minimize wrinkles:
Shake bedding out before drying
Remove promptly and smooth by hand while slightly damp
Lightly mist with water to help the fibers relax

Are Boll & Branch duvet covers oversized, and how do they fit on the bed?

Our duvet covers are intentionally sized slightly smaller than our duvet insert. This ensures the insert fully fills the cover, creating a consistently full, fluffy look.
For Queen/Full and King/Cal. King sets, the insert is 4 inches larger than the cover. This creates about 2 inches of fullness on each side for a smooth, tailored appearance across the entire bed.
When placed on the bed, the duvet is designed to hang approximately 12 to 14 inches over the sides to sufficiently cover the mattress. Styles with a flange, such as our Hemmed or Curved Edge collections, provide about 2 additional inches of visible drape.
