What is Textured Slub, and how does it feel?

Textured slub is a proprietary fabric developed exclusively for Boll & Branch in 100% organic cotton. It's woven with an irregular, slightly uneven yarn structure, known as a slub, that creates a naturally varied surface texture with a soft, lustrous quality reminiscent of silk shantung.

Does this pillow cover include a pillow insert?

No. The Fluted Decorative Pillow Cover includes the pillow cover only. It's available in Petite Lumbar and Bolster sizes, with a matching pillow insert for each sold separately.

Is there fill throughout the entire pillow cover?

The recycled polyester fill is contained only within the quilted sections of the pillow cover, not throughout the entire design. This is an intentional choice that adds softness and subtle dimension to the quilted front.

How does this pillow cover compare to the Fluted Cotton Velvet Pillow Cover?

They share the same in-house fluted quilting design, engineered with the same two-directional stitching. The Fluted Cotton Velvet Pillow Cover is finished in our exceptionally soft, dense velvet for a plush, lustrous pile, while the Cotton Shantung version is made in our textured slub fabric for a lighter, more textural finish inspired by silk shantung. Layer them together for a considered mix of textures, or choose one depending on your preferred fabric.
