When used correctly (applied to wool balls on low heat for the final 15 minutes), it leaves no chemical residue on fabric. It's safe for organic cotton, delicates, and everything else in your dryer.

Do I need Wool Dryer Balls to use this oil?

Yes. This oil is designed to be applied to Wool Dryer Balls, not directly to fabric or the dryer drum. The porous surface of the wool absorbs the oil, and the heat of the final drying cycle activates and disperses it through your laundry. For best results, use all three L'AVANT Wool Dryer Balls and apply the oil when laundry is almost but not fully dry.

Will the oil leave stains or spots on my sheets?

It can leave light spots if the oil hasn't fully absorbed into the dryer ball before it goes back in. To prevent this, apply the drops to the balls and give the oil a brief moment to soak into the wool before returning them to the dryer. If spotting does occur, it washes out completely in the next cycle.

Is the Fresh Linen Laundry Oil the same scent as the Fresh Linen Laundry Detergent?

USAGE

When laundry is almost but not fully dry, pause the dryer and remove the Wool Dryer Balls
Apply 5–10 drops of oil to each ball; allow the oil to absorb briefly into the wool
Return the balls to the dryer and run on low heat for 15 minutes to finish the cycle
For a lighter scent: 2–3 drops per ball. For a more pronounced fragrance: 5–10 drops
Do not use on high heat after applying oil
Tip: allowing the oil to absorb fully before returning the balls to the dryer prevents spotting on fabric
