What's the difference between the Mosaic Waffle Comforter Sham and Duvet Cover Sham?

The Mosaic Waffle Comforter Sham is made to match the look of the comforter: the front panel is filled with the same 100% GRS-certified recycled polyester batting, and is finished with the same evenly placed tacking and knife edge details. The Mosaic Waffle Duvet Sham is made to match the duvet cover, with a matching 2-box flange on all sides.

Is the Mosaic Waffle Comforter Sham prone to snagging?

Because waffle fabric has an open, looped weave structure, it can be more susceptible to snagging than smooth-faced fabrics. We engineered our waffle weave to be more snag-resistant than our standard waffle, and tested it accordingly. We also designed the zipper construction specifically to minimize contact with the waffle fabric. That said, we still recommend taking care around sharp jewelry and pets.

Does the waffle texture stay after washing?

Yes, the waffle texture holds its shape and dimension after washing. The special two-step wash process the duvet cover undergoes in its making is specifically designed to set the texture and reduce shrinkage, so the waffle arrives as it will look after future washes. Follow the care instructions closely for the best results over time.

The Mosaic Waffle Comforter Sham brings the covetable dimension of an oversized waffle weave to the top of bed. After it’s woven with 100% organic cotton on a jacquard loom, the fabric is then treated with a special two-step wash for an exceptionally soft hand feel from night one. Each sham is filled with hypoallergenic, 100% recycled polyester and finished with quilted tacking to keep the fill evenly distributed wash after wash.
