How does Reserve fabric compare to Signature fabric?

The shell of this comforter is made of Reserve fabric, a sateen weave made with fine, slow-spun threads that are finished in flame for a liquid drape and a polished, understated elegance. Signature is also a sateen weave, made with slightly thicker threads, offering a distinctly smooth, soft hand-feel with a subtle sheen for an everyday, versatile look.

Does this comforter sleep hot?

No. Our Reserve fabric is naturally breathable and moisture-wicking with excellent temperature regulation for year-round comfort. It may feel slightly warmer and more substantial than Signature sateen fabric due to Reserve fabric's density, but it never feels glossy, slick, or heat-trapping. The premium down-and-feather fill provides breathable loft with midweight warmth.

Is this Boll & Branch comforter wrinkle resistant?

Unlike other brands that rely on harsh chemical treatments or synthetic blends to prevent wrinkles, Boll & Branch bedding is made with 100% organic cotton and never treated with resins or formaldehyde. While our bedding may naturally wrinkle a bit, that’s the beauty of pure, breathable cotton. With a simple shake between wash and dry, it will look fresh and smooth: no shortcuts, just natural quality.

Does the Reserve Down Comforter require special care?

Yes. Because this comforter is filled with premium down and wrapped in our rare Reserve fabric, we recommend washing it in a commercial washer and dryer rather than a standard home machine. Wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle, do not bleach, and dry on low heat by itself (never with other items). Avoid high heat, which can damage both the down fill and the delicate Reserve shell, and keep in mind it may take 2–3 cycles to fully dry.
